Reference Management Tool – Mendeley (Basics) Webinar

The Library is pleased to invite you to our upcoming Mendeley (Basics) Webinar, where you’ll learn how to manage citations and bibliographies for research, projects and class assignments using Mendeley Reference Manager.
These sessions will be conducted via Google Meet in March 2025, and you can select the session that best fits your schedule.

Students are welcome to attend multiple sessions. However, Graduate Attribute (GA) points will be awarded for only one session, provided you remain present for the entire duration of the session.

Invitation to IEEE Authorship Talk
Dear Students and Staff,
We are pleased to invite you to the IEEE Authorship Talk presented by Mr. Alex Liu from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). This talk will take place on Wednesday, 20 November 2024 at 11.00 a.m. in the Audio Visual Room, Level LG, Main Library.
The topics covered include an introduction to IEEE and IEEE Xplore, differences between writing for journals and conference proceedings, paper formatting, writing ethics, navigating IEEE journals on IEEE Xplore, finding conference calls for papers, using the journal recommendation tool, accessing full text through personal accounts, advanced search strategies and browsing related articles for research support.
