Reference Management Tool – Mendeley (Basics) Webinar

Dear Students and Staff, 


The Library is hosting two webinar sessions on the Reference Management Tool - Mendeley. These webinars will take place via Google Meet in December 2024. The aim of these sessions is to introduce you to Mendeley Reference Manager, which is a great tool for managing citations and bibliographies for research or project work and class assignments.

Invitation to IEEE Authorship Talk

Dear Students and Staff,


We are pleased to invite you to the IEEE Authorship Talk presented by Mr. Alex Liu from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). This talk will take place on Wednesday, 20 November 2024 at 11.00 a.m. in the Audio Visual Room, Level LG, Main Library. 


The topics covered include an introduction to IEEE and IEEE Xplore, differences between writing for journals and conference proceedings, paper formatting, writing ethics, navigating IEEE journals on IEEE Xplore, finding conference calls for papers, using the journal recommendation tool, accessing full text through personal accounts, advanced search strategies and browsing related articles for research support.
