Facilities
The following facilities are available to support teaching, learning and research activities of staff and students:
COMPUTER FACILITIES
Internet PCs are available at various levels of the Library building. Mendeley Reference Manager, a referencing software is installed in certain PCs at Level LG & G.
WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS
Wi-Fi access is available throughout the Library building.
AUDIO VISUAL ROOM (Level LG)
An Audio Visual Room is available for the screening/viewing of course-related media materials.
RFID SELF-CHECK STATION
Borrow books from the Open Shelf and Red Spot collections with TAR UMT ownership label on the inside back cover.
RFID BOOK DROP MACHINE
Return books from the Open Shelf and Red Spot collections with TAR UMT ownership label on the inside back cover.
INDIVIDUAL STUDY CARRELS (Level 2)
R.E.A.D (Read, Enjoy and Discover) Corner (Level LG)
A designated space for students and staff to leisurely browse books, magazines, newspapers, etc.
WAITING LOUNGE (Level G)
The Waiting Lounge serves as a welcoming area for students and staff to engage in reading, studying and more while awaiting their upcoming engagements. It is furnished with comfortable sofas, chairs and tables.
