Get to Know Your Library a.k.a Library Induction Programme

ICYMI... a self-paced Library Induction Online Video is available to those who missed the Library Induction briefing session during the Mass Call.

Participate in the Online Quiz (using TAR UMT email credentials is required) after you have obtained all the information that you need, from the online video or this website to earn your Graduate Attribute (GA) Points.

Make the Most of Your Library

Besides the physical collections, the Library provides access to a number of subscribed online databases, e-journals and e-books.

These collections can be discovered and accessed easily via the search tools below:

iDiscover (A google-like starting point to begin a search)

A one-stop search for most of the library collections (books, e-books, journals, past year examination papers and many more)

Library InfoWeb (A portal for 'online renewal', 'online request' and access to 'Library InfoWeb account')

An online catalogue to search for books, serials and more. Besides, online request and online renewal can be done via your Library InfoWeb account.

IMPORTANT: First time user, please create your InfoWeb account. (please use the barcode number printed on your student ID card (i.e. 2300001234),

followed by TAR UMT email address to request for the password)

Databases (A list of subject-specific databases to suit your needs)

Multidisciplinary databases are available for on and off-campus access.

E-Journal Portal (Journal title listing from the subscribed databases in alphabetical order)

A portal to browse for single e-journal title in the subscription online databases.

TAR UMT Institutional Repository (A place to get some clues to prepare for your examination or research projects)

A digital archive of past year examination question papers, final year projects, research papers, articles and more.
